Hmm, Herzog seems to be the US equivalent of the UK MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle):
The modules on the locomotives are interchangeable.

I see them around alot in my home town being unloaded by truck. FWWR has some storage tracks here in Fort Worth that they set them out in and the truck drive up and unload them.

ACF 4-bay covered hoppers. On their site under freeware-->rolling stock-->ACF hoppers

There are 3-bay and 4-bay ones.

@ slabay: The one the picture I posted has caps on the bottom of the chutes for offloading into a trailer or silo for an industry.

Those arent mine. I was using them as an example. Around here where I live, you cant really go out and watch trains and take pictures. Too many cops.
