Subways, Underground, Tram or anything else Urban shots!

Hallo Hert,

this looks like the a further development of a game called „Verkehrs Gigant“ (I once played the German version of it – in pre trainz times meaning before 2001). Perhaps an international version is called “Traffic Gigant”.
Does it have an editor where you can built your own cities?

The screen looks very nice. I just miss the streetcar catenary and it does probably not provide season change or does it. :D

I liked „Verkehrs Gigant“ the only thing I was that you could build streetcar track embedded at roads only which does not mirror reality too much and therefore the streetcars needs to share its space with other traffic. :'(

BTW – it looks like there is a stop at the end of the street where it bends to the right – and someone looks quite unhappy up there.

Thanks for sharing your Non trainz screens as otherwise I do not see other things than trainz as it pushes me every day to continue with that rather than to check out something else from time to time. :D :D

Hey Tume. Yes this is game is just like Traffic Giant. The name of this game is Cities in Motion, it does come with an editor, sadly no seasons. Glad you enjoy, the angry passenger is most likely from exiting a broken down tram:hehe:.

Hallo Hert,

thanks for your description. May I saw this game in store here as well.
Just a question – can you build tram tracks independently from roads or not?

Sadly no seasons at your town … :'( :'(
… well my new town supports it  :D

Still I have a lot of assets to create to put more details in e.g. trolley wire support in curves and so on, but i have got snow.

Yes you can build tram tracks independently from the road. Like building tram stops and lines through city plazas and parks.

And your route is looking excellent. Cant wait to see it completed.

Pardon Me,

Were can i get those Tram Wires, Tracks, and Catenary from? Sorry if I quote this pictures but, I know this post is old but I just wanted everyone to know what Im talking about. :D

hello stratus, some of the tracks, wires and other usefull objects are on DLS, search for author: paulzmay, and you will find some interesting content

Nice screenshots tume, I like the cars you used and I like the fact that you are building in two versions.. its hard work to do that, the cars are available somewhere? but from what I see, I need to point that you will need to work a little bit more with the catenary, other than that its oky

Hallo Vlad,

thanks for your compliments. As you asked about the cars … “the cars are available somewhere?” … .
Every content you see at this particular screens – including the cars – comes from myself. It has not been released yet, but it will be released within that route in some month – so I hope.

Yes, I need to create more assets for a more realistic looking catenary support especially in curves. :)

Not mine - as NSWGR_46Class says, they are by Motorman1066. You may also be interested in the tram track by Andi06 and supports by Silversmith that also match the same 6.4m wire height. All of my overhead items are designed for 5.3m high overhead to suit most modern European tram models.

Tume,

When you do release this fantastic route, are you going to release a TS2010 version of this route?

Hallo,

thank you for your interest to get my route. TS2010 does not support season change for all kind of content. Therefore a TS2010 version would require a “backward – rework” of several assets to get non-seasonal versions of these assets which can be handled by the CMP and eventually by the game itself.
Therefore it is quite unlikely that I will do so. I hope you can understand that my spare time is quite limited and it takes a long time to get the routes and the content done I want to release meeting the latest standards including season change. Therefore I doubt to have enough time left to work on non-seasonal content.

Beautiful T3 models.. I was wondering when someone from Czech Republic will do some nice looking models of Prague trams. From what i see the pantograf will be for the 5.3m height catenary? because I want to play with them in my map:D

Tume,

How do make this season change thing occur in TS12?

Regards

Johan

Hallo Johan,

you just have to use the „Environment Setting Tool”.
You will find it as part of the “Roll Down Menu” which appears if you click onto the button at the upper left corner. The „Environment Setting Tool” is situated in the second half of that menu. Obove you find the “save” and the “save as” function and below that you will see the “Replacement Tool” just go further down – I am sure you will find the „Environment Setting Tool”.
Click onto it and a window comes up including more submenus to choose. Click on the last submenu which wears a little sun on it. Another window comes up and at its bottom you will find a place where you can edit the height of the snowline for the whole route. If you set this value to “0” you will get a snowy scene.

Please note that only the assets which supports season change will turn into its snowy appearance if you set the snowline to “0”. Except the builtin speed trees and some speed trees, ground textures and less building assets at the DLS you will probably not find too much content which supports season change jet. But I am working hard to change this situation.

Just some of my latest screens to watch at it: :)
