Strange Signal Message

I have a trouble spot on my route, where the train will not start again after stopping at a station. This station is essentially the same as twelve others I have on the route, which all work fine. I have deleted and replaced this station, and the track close to it, several times, and the problem persists. When I click on the signal where the train leaves the station, I get the message "8-". Can anyone tell me what that means?
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

I don't what your "8-" signal means but maybe by placing some extra signals you can find your problem.

I had a problem with a train that would not leave a station also. I found a red signal just down the track a bit and it simply refused to switch to green for me. I finally discovered when I placed another signal just past it that the original signal would than switch to green. Well I just started to move the forward signal further and further away until I found the spot that the AI could not see past. When I moved past this spot the back signal would switch back to red. There was nothing at the spot I could see.. No junctions nothing but straight track.. I finally inserted some splines than deleted and replaced that spot and like magic the signals started working correctly and of course so did the train.

Good Luck

This is the wierdest challenge I've come against yet. I see now that the strange signal message is actually no message at all. All the signal messages start with "x-".

The problem only happens with one train. Other trains behave OK. I deleted that train, and its schedule, replaced it with another one, and the problem was still there! I've replaced the track, the signals, the station, everything, and yet it's still there! It's impossible! Do I have to replace the baseboard???? (I'm not doing that, I'll just bypass the station....)

Thanks Bobby, I'll try the signals. What's strange is that only one train has the problem.
