Those are certainly fair comments with regard to the original MSTS.I will keep using trainz (once i make it work) because msts problems are:
You need a diploma in progamming to use the route editor
You also need a diploma to use the activity editor
But MSTS2 will be totally different to the original MSTS and AFAIK nobody outside Microsoft has seen the route editor or the activity editor in MSTS2 yet.
No disrespect to you intended but it is completely wrong to base any judgement of MSTS2 on the original MSTS. To the trainsim-buying public MSTS2 is almost a total unknown at this early stage of its development. We'll just have to wait and see before we can reach any conclusions.
We can be reasonably sure about one thing though. It'll almost certainly be buggy beyond belief until it gets its first service pack
