hi this is my first post ever, im Justin and ive been working on a layout of were i live, its not that great im mainly just doing it from memory, heres some sceenshots

thanks! the inclines are both there, the duquesne and the Monongahela, just one is hidden by trees. thanks im always open to suggestions like where i can find dlc pertaining to my layout

Pretty nice work for your first screenshots. It's sure looking like 'The Burgh" to me. Just curious though,.. is that second loco in you first screenshot, the railroad I think it is?

Thank you, its P&LE dash 9, seems fitting because i walk passed or drive pass the p&le building every day at station square

Yup,.. Thats what I thought it was. Cool. Interesting idea to do modern power in ple livery. If your interested I can send these to VMD for freeware download.

No one seemed interested a few months ago when I first did them, so didn't send them in for approval.

Ok,.. I'll get around and send them off. I've always liked the "Little Giant" my self. Not sure if you know, but there is a couple of PLE GE U28B's on the DLS also if your interested.

yep here is a better pic of it lol ill sure take them thank you, id like to start painting livery's for trains i also paint NASCAR for the game NASCAR racing 2003 so id like to paint a train or two

I've been working on and off a Pittsburgh layout myself, which was started years ago when I did work with Trainz Eastern Routes. I have a HOG terrain map of the area, but since I saw how you could apply the Google Earth imagery as textures, I really want something like that.

My layout is more focused on the light rail line as it was in 1988.

I seem to remember a Pittsburgh DEM, but it did not go much further past the "point" park, and as far west as Conway Yard, and as far east as Pitcairn Yard.

I don't know about the PPG tower, but the US Steel tower is on the DLS.

yeah if you want that would be great i was taking some pics on the trestle on south side(the walk way overpass over the NS line) and some other places too, but yeah knock yourself out.
