A pair of USRA Mikados meet on the B&O's "West End" a few miles east of Grafton, West Virginia. The Mike on the left is heading downgrade for the Grafton yard with a string of empties while the other B&O 2-8-2 is moving a train of loaded hoppers eastbound. Just a few miles up the grade the eastbound train will need to stop and obtain the assistance of one or more pushers to take its train up Newburg Grade and the 2.7-percent Cranberry Grade.

Is that the Pennsy's that I reskinned? I'm working on a route based on the Highland Valley route, set in the steam era. I've taken care of everything except the foliage (trees, shrubs, etc.), which I'm working on now. A little at a time.

I been away from this tread for far to long :p.

The L&A 2190 climbing the Pebworth grade out of Levi with a load of empties. The 8881 triplex is making sure the Y makes the climb with no trouble.
