I stick to my guns...2/3 of the earth is water, fresh and salt, there is more than enough stuff floating in the oceans and lying on rubbish dumps to convert to fuel...Modern technology and dedicated research can solve all the problems concerning steam traction.
But..modern steam locomotives would never be the same , look and sound the same again as in the golden past .
