Hello,
In this post. I am talking about Trainz 2004 primarily, since the 2006 steam engine sounds do not work properly on my computer at all.
I have a British steam loco called the Great Western 0 class51xx. It has a steam chuffing sound that is more pleasing to my ears than many in Trainz 2004. It seems to minimize or avoid the overlaying of sounds in the usual steam engine sounds.
It does seem a bit like a standard shift car (start off in first gear, shift into second, shift into third etc.) I forget if I downloaded this enginesound, or if it is built-in.
I'm hoping that someone understands what I am talking about here, (since I am not technical at all about this). I'd like to know if there are any other steam enginesounds that are built like this? How can I find them, And can I just "drop" them into some other loco's config file, or is it more complicated than that?
