spline smoothing tool

Hi i was wondering if anyone can help me find the spline smoothing terrain tool. (its something that will bring the terrain up to the spline.) Any help will be very appriciated

I'm not sure if any tool exits, but that would be a great idea.

What I do is to sight down the track on the side, and then raise up the terrain a little bit at a time until it barely sinks through the ties. When viewed from above and from the side, there's little evidence of floating tracks then.
