Speedtrees by Russian creators - name translations

RMM , your trees perform and look fantastic. Glad to see you continuing to produce them. Thank you for these assets.

Replaced the pofig speedtrees in CheckRails Evansville route.

Just replace the pofig trees in TS12 with similar billboards and then replace those with T:ANE Speedtrees.

These are mcquirels freeware on the DLS.

Took about an hour.

Thanks for the compliments and nice screenshot.......... Want to say more, but I'd get the fifth degree by N3V thus why I left..........

29 September 2015.

Just noticed 19 new RMM speedtrees have been uploaded to the DLS (today ?). I'm guessing that's what the recent screenshots by RMM were meant to signify.

They are Aspens, Cedars, Cypress, Eucalypts - so no new names to translate, these are already covered in the table in post #1.

Anyone has a quick-replacement table for pofig trees with these rmm ones? I mean, an equivalence of the pofig trees to rmm? I need to update my V5 pofig trees to some V6 ones.

Here's a chart I found ages ago and saved it!

Gr - grass
K, Ks, Kt - "куст" - "bush"
B - "берёза" - "birch"
Db - "дуб" - "oak-tree"
D - "дерево" - "tree"
E, El - "ель" - "fir-tree"
S - "сосна" - "pine tree"
Kl - "клён" - "maple"
T - "туя" - "thuja"

subname d - "дальнее" - "for using in background"

The difference being Pofig used initials while RMM spelled out the names.

Hope this helps.

John

Thank you for translations, John. I will start replacing and see how it goes.

Adding my thanks. Although you can have too many types of tree in a route, as a route creator you can never have too many trees to choose from. :)
