I have lived in the Bay Area all my life, SP was a part of it. The commuter from SF to SJ, and all freights that ran along that. I remember the SD9s, Harriman coaches, and bi-levels. I even remember the bi-centennial locos. I think it would be cool to make the route from SF to SJ, and have it go up the east bay to meet the WP at Hayward. Brings back memory of putting coins on the tracks, waiting for the commuter to flatten them.
