Since the Oldham loop closed in October 2009 most of the line had been deserted and now the station canopy at Oldham Mumps(dating for the 20th century maybe older) is under threat of demolition. But the ELR have set a bid up to purchase the canopy and use it on the line(this is were everyone comes in). The bid needs £50,000 to be successful and can only really be done with donations(no matter how much) to get it saved.
