Some OTHER PC Websites for Builders:

Great idea Euphod.
Here is two I would recommend:

Tom's Hardware
http://www.tomshardware.com/

Great place to ask a question on the forums and check in on the latest tech anywhere.

TestFreaks
http://www.testfreaks.com/

Another great place that has reviews on computer parts. I haven't looked through it a whole lot but looks like a great site to check on what people think of products.

If you hadn't started the topic, I would have never found this setup! I went to MWave and it's exactly what I'm looking for!

Cool! That's exactly the results I was hoping for, thanks for posting!:)

I'm going to add this one as an excellent source of information with benchmarking charts for CPUs and GPUS, and entire systems:

I don't know all the intricacies, but CompUSA is the brick-and-mortar retail arm of Tigerdirect. CircuitCity is, apparently, filling a similar role as well.

I'm fortunate enough to live near two TigerDirect/CompUSA brick and mortar stores, and one is the regional warehouse! I was just at the store last weekend, buying a mobo! I wish they were still separate entities, but then again, I wish ZipZoomFly hadn't gone south either!:o

Microcenter is pretty good too, if you have one around. My closest one is 45 minutes away, out by Villanova U, but well worth the drive. (And there's a lot of rail around there...another good reason to go! ;))

Yeah, I've used that calculator for I don't know how long. It's awesome. But I still wouldn't recommend less than a 700W power supply for any Trainz rig, no matter what the calculator says. Too many power supplies deliver well-below their rated output, and some of the name-brands are as bad as the no-name junk.
