Some lights and sound don't work in TRS2009

I've noticed that many sounds and lights don't work in the newest version of Trainz (some of the built-in objects as well!). I don't know what I do wrong, but many lamps for instance don't seem to give out light. Many sound files (those yellow columns) do work in the surveyor, but do not when I drive my train - can anybody explain it? Ist there any reason for such a behaviour?

The scripting has changed for TRS2009 so many individual assets need to be updated to run in native mode.

It will happen slowly.

I ported a layout of minr from TRS2006 to TS2009. It had bird sounds that were standard with TRS2006. It was a whole different species in TS2009.
