Snowline in TRS 2022

I don't yet own TRS 2022, but I would like to know if its snowline effect is still bugged like it is in T:ANE and TRS 2019.

Can someone do the following simple test and report the result?

- Create a blank baseboard at the default height of 0 metres and put a hill in the middle that rises to 100 metres.
- Enter a snowline height of 50 metres in the Environmental control panel (or whatever TRS22 uses).
- Paint the whole baseboard with a seasonal texture that can display snow above the snowline.

If the effect is not bugged, only the top of the hill (from 50 to 100 metres) should become snowy.

If the effect is still bugged, the whole baseboard from 0 to 100 metres will be snowy. In other words, it is ignoring the snowline = 50 metres and acting as if snowline = 0 metres.

Just tried it in TRS22PE with the following result.

No snow appeared at all until I changed the snow altitude to 0m then it was everywhere on the seasonal texture. Changing the snow altitude to 10m made all the snow disappear.

EDIT: I saved the route and session as a .cdp and imported them into Trainz Plus beta with the same result.

So it's still seriously dysfunctional. That makes at least 3 versions (spanning about 10 years) in which this fairly major bug has not been addressed. I think that's inexcusable.

Thanks for doing the test!
