I've been working on this for several days and still haven't found a viable solution.
I'm working on a prototypical route that has a stretch of single track about 18 miles long. I do not want to put any signals between this stretch so I will avoid cornfield meets with AI drivers. I've tried adding invisible loops, track markers, and speed signs hoping to give the signals something to "see" between this long stretch of single track. Unfortunately the signals facing opposite directions at the end of the single track still read "line ahead is unsignalled."
This produces all AI traffic to come to a complete stop and will not advance past these signals at both ends of the single track.
I'm sure other route builders have came across this problem before. I'm hoping to find some kind of work around or fix.
Thanks...
