Good Afternoon hiawathamr,

Route is looking most inviting, when do I get a chance to drive (eh, Operate the Train)?:hehe:

It looks might swell in all seasons......

Mr Blue Cat here, is curious, those Shadows look terrific, what setting our you running with, High or Ultra? If ultra, I might be a little Jealous, my old 1050 GTI would fry my Mother Board at that setting most likely.......:(

Keep up the good work, Pictures are Fan-Tabolous pun intended! :p

Updated Remarks: Tues Night Thank you for the Game Settings, I have been thinking about my next Laptop, and somehow, if when I get ready to retire the Asus, which this by Dec of this year turns 4 years old, 3 is considered Dinosaur Status, Very Ancient....

I'll need a NVIDIA 6 V Ram instead of 4, but then, I need a strong battery to keep it going......Great that you have a Video Card that can handle those higher settings......

Do you ever just invest an ungodly amount of time and effort into a project, only to suddenly abandon it for months? Yeah me too. Here's some of the last work I did before dropping Trainz for a while. Trying to get back into the swing of things now.

This route does not represent any particular real-life location, other than just being inspired by the Canadian rockies/PNW/Alps regions, thus it has custom flags to strike a balance of sorts between these regions

And further west, an area that was inspired by CP's spiral tunnels

@Forester1 - Thank you! :)

@blueodessey - Thank you for your kind words :)
As soon as the TCCP system starts accepting TRS22 content I was thinking of having a performance trial of the already completed areas to gather feedback from other Trainzers (this way people don't go sharing around unreleased content as I can have it payware tagged). I'll announce this part when the time comes.

As for the shadows I have them set on high since my 3060 GPU can handle it. My 1060 3GB version (which died) didn't like it but didn't complain unless it was my mega route then it hated me:hehe:
I can run Trainz with everything maxed out but I choose not to. If you are curious about my settings here is a screenshot of them:

@krpkk - Yes there are routes where I just want to abandon them but somehow I still manage to keep working on the route...
I love the little details you have on your route nevertheless:)

Cheers

Hiawathamr, I have seen several post recmmending turning off shadows or setting them to minimum to resolve issues with PBR textures and other TRS19 anomalies. Have you run into any such issues building your route?
Krpkk, your work in progress looks great! Keep us posted on progress!

Wow great work looks really close to the google map image.

Doesn't seem like much work but got the major freeway interchange completed:

And a Vote of Confidence here Sir,

You'd be most surprised if I told you, I have seen many Freeway Systems that do not match up to the level of your undertaking. Curves and Symmetry are not easy to accomplish, especially if Breaks show in Road Structure. From what I can tell, looks pretty slick.:D

Thank you for sharing, and be proud of your accomplishments.

There is an old saying,,sometimes after an arduous project, there needs to be, or shall we say,,,"The Pause that Refreshes"

We are all human, sometimes we forget that and just plow on, till one day it catches up with full frustration, etc.

One of things I do sometimes, is just take some quite time away by myself, to think, reflect, meditate, figure out what I need or should do, regroup.

One other thing, I like the majestic Mountains you created.......That is some Talent........

No I haven't ran into any of those issues with PBR and high shadow anomalies with TRS19 or with TRS22.
I've experienced that it does degrade performance overtime but I also have those settings set to high as well along with process objects behind cam which doesn't help any but other than that I haven't ran into those.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, here's one more area that's seen some work recently on the same route. Still lots to do in this location. Planning to redo all the forest cover on this route for a 5th time. Small patches such as the foreground are fine, but I don't like the look of the larger areas such as the background. Maybe someday I'll get it right lol
