Hello all.
As I take my departure from the TRAINZ community, I thought I'd might as well show off one final batch of reskins I've worked on in my spare time.
With too much going on both online and IRL (especially havoc with job responsibilities and trying to juggle my home life, not to mention the documentary I've been pulling my hair out over almost the last 6 years), being active in the community is something that I can not really factor into my life anymore. And, truth be told, if there's something with the railroad/TRAINZ community I want to prioritize, it's my work with the
Friends of the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad's Excursion Trains and the documentary work - which I am mostly alone in working on. It was fun, I met some really cool people and spent a lot of time with them that I reminisce over, and those are some days I never wish to take back. The same can't be said for the rest of those days, but I digress. It is time for me to move onto greener pastures, and to deal with the dragon we call 'life.'
I hope you enjoy these shots of what I enjoyed doing for a long time, since 2015 actually. The charm of 70's freight trains are something I've always wished to recapture having never been able to see it in person. Some of these cars are either minor/major revamps, edits, or are completely new. My skills are nowhere near Trainz Forge levels of 'amazing texture' (and it never will be), nor is my "quality or quantity" comparable to that of MBV67 (you're doing much better for 70's than I ever could hope to achieve), but I did this for fun to satisfy my needs. That's what this game was always about to me:
to have fun with trains. You can expect to see some of these cars in the documentary whenever it releases. And as for if they'll be rereleased, I don't know. Probably not, unless something changes.
To quote Jim Carrey as Truman Burbank:
In case I don't see 'ya; good afternoon, good evening, and good night.
