I support this idea!I'll have a new kitbash out later today. Just tidying-up a few loose ends here and there...
On a sort-of related note I am thinking of creating a website for my modifications. It will feature reskins that users can download for their engines and might also feature a few select parts that I have created over the years to modify locomotives. We'll see, so that will be in the near future that I'll make a decision on that. If I do open a website I'd be open to taking regular requests for locomotive kitbashes, so I hate to say this but pull out your wish list
I'd pay for that if he wanted them as payware on his own website. Those look fantastic!

Correct. Those are reskins of my payware models, and Brians models utilize assets from my payware engines. I am currently selling them since I took the months to make them, therefore, no one else releases them.
So making a website giving away models that consist of my payware and parts of my payware engines just isn't going to happen.

My site is for my own content, not other peoples reskins. If you want reskins, buy them and do it yourself, OR take months and years like I did and make them.

Steve you misunderstood me haha. The only thing that I'm actually giving away is stuff I make, none of your assets. If I'm creating a model that utilizes any of your assets I don't include them in the files, the only thing I release is my texturing and my detail pieces and whomever I'm giving them to needs to already have your models to utilze those parts. Hope that clears up the confusion!

Like you said before for payware reskins you can just release the texture files this would mean that the downloader would need to own the asset the skins were designed for to use the textures

i did even more work on my abandoned HHP-8 i added some specs of rust eating away at the paint on top and more dirt

Dude, i don't know what you don't understand, but like i said, even if i wanted to release these reskins, i wouldn't because of people like you. Steve has stated that i can't release these reskins, and i have no intentions of releasing them. They're for my own personal use and that's it. You're not getting them in any way, shape, or form.
