So for what it is worth, I have in the past started a cab forward model of my own, however this was in an old modeling program I no longer use and thus will not be completed.
We have done a revamp of Paul’s AC-12 in the past, but as it is payware it cannot be shared out publicly. It’s not perfect, but it’s a decent enough improvement that can be used as a stand-in until the far superior N3V model that was shown off in their roadmap is finished, if it is finished.
I have also done the SP MC-1s that are currently available on TF. These engines are the precursors to the cab forwards and were later rebuilt into the early cab forwards.
At some point, I do want to go and start working my way though all the cab forwards, from the MCs to the ACs and everything in between. Obviously this is a massive undertaking, and would probably start with rebuilding the MC-1s into their later cab forward guises, then working our way to the AC-4/5/6, then AC-7/8/10/11/12s, rounding it out with the AC-9s likely being the last ones. Perhaps sometime in the future, I can dedicate a solid year or more to just building cab forwards, a “Year of the cab forwards” if you will.
