Hi Auran.
Could you please tell me when service pack 3 = automatic instalation =
as i have downloade the manuel service pack 3 but can not install it
because it wants = Direct9x August version =
And beleve me i am not going to download that version as it is 524 MG
and install it as my computer works perfect at the moment.
The other problem then is that when a new patch is aviable it will not
install because i do not have instaled service pack 3

524MB is for the SDK for developers, not the redistributable package (ie, the runtime) for users.

Even with that august pack I can't install it. Half way (after unpacking, running without firewall, and all) it aborts for some reason. And I am not the only one for what I see on other threads.
