Serial key re-use

Hi,

I just recently got my hands on TS12. However, the disk drive of my PC will not open. My brother suggests I install it on his laptop, but I'm having problems deciding if I should install it on his laptop or not. The problem which is bothering me, is the serial code. Can I re-use the key once I install the game on a PC and can I install it on another PC?

Yes, the key is installed into the game, not the registry or hidden sectors or data streams on disk. You can copy the installed game from the laptop to your PC. That's one of the great things about Trainz, the portability. You'll still need to register your key at Planet Auran for DLS access and other things, though that's completely separate.
