I remember having some semaphore signals in trainz 2004 and before that.
I no longer can find any in 2010 that are used for american routes.
Can someone lead me to some.
Or do you have any kuid numbers I can download?

Thanks guys, and girls.

Hi Bob,

Check the DLS. There are a whole bunch of them up there and they have been updated to work in TS2010. Look for US&S semaphores.

Whose?
I only know of a couple used by philskene and dwarfs recently made by I believe seniorchief.
I think semaphores are the hardest to make because they have to be animated and there are so many variaties.

I'm quite jealous of our British Trainzers, as they seem to have a wide variety of these available (unfortunately they face the wrong way for American practice). I keep hoping someone's going to decide to tackle these the way bnsf50 tackled the level crossing drought when TS2006 first came out. I may try make one of these myself one of these days, but first I've got to finish renaming several thousand assets...

Is there a way of changing the side of the track they're on so that they're RH running instead of LH running? I agree the British Trainzers have quite a selection of signals!

John

Why are there two posts running asking the same things? It's getting me confused.

I've just posted on another one that if anybody wants a hand making semaphores in gmax I'll give them a hand.

Chris.

Hi John,

Yes you can change which side of the track signals are on quite easily. The only trouble with semaphores is the blade ends up hanging over the track. If you want to try it look in the config.txt file for a tag, 'trackoffset' this will have a number value which is the distance from the centre of the track. If it is a negative number i.e. '-2.2' remove the negative sign to make it read '2.2'

Cheers,
