Searching for a good grade crossing for 06.

Hi I am looking for a good grade crossing for 06, I tried BNSF's crossing and for some reason the sound just doesnt work for me. (might be my computer but it is kinda feedbacky). Also it doesnt go with the time period.

Does anyone have any good crossing lights from around 1940 in the US? failing that what are some good US crossings out there.

These are nice crossings, but sadly the gate-script is broken in '06.

Did you not find my wig-wag, peach basket, banjo and rotating stop sign signals? They are 1940 period.
As to the sound feed back, thats the first time I've heard that so it must be your sound card problem. You could try turning down your sound acceleration in your sound properties a little and see if that helps.

feedback might not be the best word to describe it. It does the ding-ding-ding-ding but there is sound between each ding and its loud and kinda obnoxious. Might be my sound card, not sure. (the sound is acting kinda funny with certain engines with 06. It'll be too soft when i blow the horn and then it will be loud when i blow it again. Ill have to look into it. it only happens in trainz btw.) Ill check out your classic signals btw BNSF, i didnt know that you had them.

I'll bet you're running a on the board AC97 sound chip, I think it is called. That's a well known sound problem that cropped up in 06. Sound fading out and or dropping out for short periods, bells ringing all over the route. There are plenty of threads on a fix for it, one being purchasing the Audigy Sound Blaster X-Fi sound card. That's what I did to remedy the problem. I don't have any sound problems with 06 at all now.
It seems that part of the sound problems have cropped back up again in TC 1,2, even with this card though. So I'm sticking with 06. Plus I don't want to lock any more Trainzers out of using my assets than I already have by using 06, I'm referring to the 04 users that are unable to use my crossings due to the script. If I start building in TC or later then even 06 users will be locked out, since the assets are not backwards compatible.
