Screenshots Preserved On DVD (Update)

Kevin,

Thanks for the reply. So am i to understand that people who may not have the best surveying/content creation skills can submit shots of routes that may not showcase the best of Trainz? Or will you reject shots that have been taken of locos/routes/scenery items that have obviously had little time and effort applied to their creation?

I ask becuse this project could be a nice little promotional tool for Trainz, and convince people to have a closer look at what Trainz has to offer. To have this effect though, and even to make a few sales, you need to have some sort of standard in regards to what you will consider.

Just a thought,

Matt.

Hi Matt

To answer your questions

All people are on different levels with trainz. We are looking for screenshot pictures from anyone regardless of their creation skills. So whether you are a novis or a pro we welcome your pictures for consideration.

I think the majority of the trainz community do put a lot of effort and time into their routes and we would reject a picture if in our opinion just showed something like a house with a green baseboard or showing mesh board. We are not only looking for high detailed shots, all pictures will be considered.

Remember the route does not have to be complete it can still be under development and could span across the various volumes we hope to release.
I will put together this week on our web site (www.kj-trains.co.uk) an example of what would be acceptable and what would not but in general ALL pictures would be considered.

I hope this answers your questions and I am in full agreement with you last paragraph.

All we need now is people / users to start submitting their pictures so we can start creating volume 1

All pictures must be submitted to Kevin@kj-trains.co.uk In a zip file (Win ZIP preferred) should you have a large amount you want to submit for consideration then please don’t make the zip file to big split it into 2 or 3 files instead. Also include any information on each picture along with your contact email and web site if appropriate.

I'm still interested in the idea...

While I may not be the best route maker out there, I would still like to submit shots of my routes.
