Local line located in middle of the biggest forest in Poland called "Bory Tucholskie" (means something like "Pine Forest of Tuchola"). Monoculture of pine (with birch) exists becouse of bad podsol soil. On the extensive area is nothing more than forest, which grows on glacial outwash plain called sandur.

Wonderful shots. Looks and sounds very much like the Pine Barrens of New Jersey here in the US. It is a forest of pine trees growing in the middle of tidal sand from the Atlantic Ocean.
