Don’t see many from you Alex42, but they’re always great. Nice work!

Here’s one from me.

Single line through the Maritime Alps, heading towards the Italian/French border town of Ventimiglia where it joins the mainline. Semi-prototypical based on the Tende (France) area, close to the Italian border.

Cheers

Thanks Huub!

After the mountains, you arrive at the coastal mainline.

Trenitalia Aln diesel unit.

On the Ligurian line somewhere near Ventimiglia.

I can only run the diesel version. Catenary not in place yet. Still a work in progress (aren't they all!)

Cheers

Hi Retro.

All of it on the distant landscaping is textures.

The obvious objects are a mix.

The grass, close up, to the right is Jankvis animated grass (yes, it used to move in ’04, and still does!). I got them from the DLS.

JVC(Anim.A) Grass 703 B High – kuid:328583:4473

Other nice animated ones from Jankvis are:
JVC(Anim.A) Grass 703 B – kuid:328583:4472
JVC(An) Grass 676 high group – kuid:328583:4475

The Mediterranean vegetation either came from the DLS or TrainzItalia. N3V won’t allow users of unsupported versions into the DLS to check without an FCT, otherwise I’d have been happy to look to see if they are there.

The canes either side of the train:
canneto spline – kuid:146087:37507

The Mediterranean pines:
pino 10 – kuid:146087:22674
pino 05 – kuid:146087:226669
pino 01 – kuid:146087:22665
pino 08 – kuid:146087:22672
pino 07 – kuid:146087:22671

If they aren’t on the DLS you can get them (and more) from here: http://www.trainzitalia.com/vbulletin/downloads.php?do=file&id=1221

Grass and bushes are the Trunda greenery vegetation available from here: http://www.greenery.name/mstsg/mstsgd.htm?trainz,2
Ignore the references to MSTS – they download into Trainz just fine. There are two pages of listings.

Cheers

Thanks Casper. I was asking about the dense shrubbery near the camera. It would be nice if my computer's memory was larger so that I could have that draw distance (as I have only less than 1 gigabyte. At least I was thinking about upgrading it soon).

Unfortunately, my 1-year FCT expired yesterday, so I am locked out of the DLS right now (and do I want an FCT, or more memory?  ;)), so I might have to wait on the DLS stuff (unless Jan has some stuff on some third-party websites, and I know that some of it (maybe the older stuff?) is out there. ;)

Regards.

Those are the canes by Tinotos, canneto spline – kuid:146087:37507 available here: http://www.trainzitalia.com/vbulletin/downloads.php?do=file&id=1198

I don't recall any of his stuff being on the DLS, but I might be wrong.

Hey mezzoprezzo,
nice Screenshot, which train is it?and where is it to download?
sry for my bad English.

Hi gungo.

Thank you for your kind words.

The train is a Trenitalia FS (Ferrovie dello Stato) three car unit type Ale/ALn501-502 “Minuetto”.

They were built with either electric or diesel power. The downloaded model will give you both by using an interchangeable centre car, one diesel, the other electric with a pantograph.

FS Le 502 kuid:28004:70270 Electric car with pantograph
FS Ln 502 kuid:28004:70278 Diesel car, no pantograph
FS ALe 501 kuid:28004:70266 Car with integral cab

You can get the freeware Trainz pack from AmiciTRENi.net from this page: http://download.amicitreni.eu/comment.php?dlid=118&ENGINEsessID=435afa294d3b42910ef6c0e7abb4b98f
