Scenes in your layout

As work on my layout, I find partcular joy in putting in little scenes. I was inspired by Minatur wunderland in Hamburg, Germany. Where there was a women in a red bikini fixing a broken Porsche 911 while a monk looks on from the woods. Along with others. So I put a car that has crashed into a pole. cars being pulled over for speeding, as well as at the local carnival where the cars from the roller coaster crashed into a parked car. With police, firefighters and paramedics and a crowd looking on. In the rural areas their is a dirt road leading up to the Bate's motel and Victorian house looking over it on the hill. A little further their is a lake where a car is being pushed in by a man. My refrence to Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho.
Feel free to tell me your layout scenes.

Sounds like a very cool idea. But where do you get the objects to portray these little scenes?
Well the stuff I used to show Psycho was just stuff i found in the game. Same with the roller coaster. I just used download center when I needed something I didn't have.

Heh Heh! Yeah, I did the same in my Ozark Valley route! Lots of little "hidden" scenes engineers probably don't notice while driving their locomotive! Heh Heh! :D

A shot from my Route I working on, I have quite a few small scenes that possibly go unnoticed by train drivers.

Young fellow being pulled over by police.

I also try to add in little scenes, like a quarrel in a bus queue or a burning downtown building.
I too like scenes like this. I also have a fire scene, a pair of not-so-grand homes on fire. A height-adjusted fire effect has flames and smoke pouring from the gutted buildings; an animated firetruck is futilely hosing down the worst offender; numerous emergency vehicles with flashing lights surround the scene, with scads of lookie-loos beyond the perimeter of police and firefighters.

I also have a full-fledged (well, as full-fledged as I could find--would like to see more booths and accessories) of a seaside carnival/circus. I have the full Barnum and Bailey train, so I have that sitting on a siding leading into the fairgrounds.

Out in a rural portion, I have a small Christmas tree farm, with lights, decorations, a Nativity scene, Christmas music, etc. This was actually the first mini-scene I built, and I learned a lesson from it, when I realized I had built it so far from the tracks, I knew I'd never see it again!

Neoklai's animated people do wonders for adding to scenes. The passing of this wheat train disturbed the boys kicking the ball to one another... yes it is a fully animated scene...

I am going to Minature Wunderland for a couple of days next month ! I cant wait and will certainly look out for the gal in the bikini :D

The DHR has a few little vignettes also. Some are close to the track and others may be found quite a ways away. One of them is way down a stream. Due to the complexity, we tried to keep these scenes out where content was more sparse.

I am creating a route that is based on the track plan of my model railway layout. It has some content that I have made, so I will have to upload that before I upload the route. The route will be called captainkmans model railway. Some of the hidden scened that I have include: Mr Bean's mini in the station car park, along with Christine and the Mad Max Interceptor. I have my Duel truck next to the truck I reskinned to make it. There are two signs leading up to the trucks that are around the corner. The first says: Terror in your, and the second says: rear view mirror. I couldn't fit it all on one sign. I will post a screenshot soon.
