Safety Valve Blowing off every few seconds

What do I need to change to stop the safety valve going off every 15 seconds?
I want to at least extended it by 5 minutes at the most.

Edit: trying to find the specific wav file to silence it.

I know you said we can disregard the post but one possibility is to see if there is a more up to date enginespec for your locomotive. The latest version of Trainz handles the engine data differently to earlier versions but quite often the enginespec has not been updated or if it has a new asset has been created which uses tags that earlier versions do not recognise. Often the creator of the locomotive does not modify the locomotive because he wants it to continue to work in earlier versions but you can change the config.txt file to use an updated enginespec.

Try the enginspec that comes with the built-in UP 0-6-0 switcher. It does blow off, but not as frequently and for a much shorter duration when it does.

Some time ago I also uploaded to the Download Station an enginespec suitable for big power.
