Running Trainz2004 in Win7 XP Compatibility

I've installed Trainz2004 on a 64-bit Windows machine with ATI Graphics and have a screenshot of the error message but cannot attach to this post. Why did Auran stop this practice? It's not like anyone can imbed a virus in a jpg image very easily. I have gone through too much with this to create an account on photobucket or whatever to do this.

The error message is a hardware violation. Will it run on Win7 in compatibility mode??

Maybe it is a hardware rather than software problem?

For me '04 runs just fine in Win7.

As you can see by my sig, TRS2004 will run on Win 7. take a look at this link on how to install on win 7.
