You may not have the fastest laptop/desktop but you can do a lot to optimize what you do have. Windows 10 enables practically everything by default. Go into Setting, and work through each option turning off everything you don't need to run or share. Next clear the screen of all the icons, they use graphic memory as do widgets which also use processor power. Uninstall all the programs and samples you have no intention of using, they don't use computer/graphic assets directly but its more for your anti-virus to monitor which does use such power. The same can be said for large collections of music and video files. Keep Windows and Trainz up to date but don't be the first to update top end graphic card drivers; on average about once a year they throw a wobbly, you will soon hear about it through this Forum. It frequently pays to run Trainz from a fresh boot, the likes of the Chrome browser leaves parts running even after closing to enable a fast load when next required but uses computing assets in the process.
