Rules on making YouTube videos of TS2010

Just curious if there are any restrictions on making and posting YouTube videos of running routes I have created. And do I need permission from Auran to put on a personal website downloadable content for TS 2010 such as rolling stock and layouts?

All of this would be for non-commercial purposes, just my personal hobby.

Thanks!

Rob

You don't need permission to post vids of any route, yours or otherwise. If it was somebody else's route substantially modified it would be polite to show the original creator before posting, but there is no requirement that you do so.

You don't need permission to host content (including routes) which are your own work anywhere you like, but you most certainly should not be distributing or re-distributing content created by anyone else in either original or modified form...

RobertSoule, are you related to the late Robert Soule of Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum? lol BTW, NS is bringing back steam with TVRM. 630 will be first, followed by 4501. 630 is supposed to be finished this December. Then, there might be steam excursions on NS, possibly in 2011 with the 630.

@Dermmy - Thanks! Yes, I meant content I created myself.

@rwk - No relation as far as I know! Great to hear about the steam though. Are those old restored locos or some sort of new-fangled modern steam engines?
