RSDL Announce: Rail Simulator 2: Railworks – The evolution of Rail Simulator

Must admit I have now taken the decision to put my RS Bralos route on ice and restart the project in TRS. After a further playing around in Transdem and some more detailed georeferencing of the maps, I've now got a DEM extraction and map overlay/vector that is as it should be. There's far more resources in TRS to make a reasonable stab at a Southern European route and of course the myriad of terrain textures to choose from.

Guess I will have to deal with the sharp curves and wonky tunnels as best I can!
You're a fickle man Vern! ;)

Looking in the Archives. This "RS" subject comes up all the time and usally the thread is closed. I believe you all need to re-read "What to post in General Trainz". I have come to my senses, this is Trainz, not RailSimulator, not Fury, not any other game...just Trainz.

And comparing Trainz with other rail sims is not talking about trainz, you are not a mod yet you are carrying on worse than any mod has ever been, sheesh get a life.

Hi and Welcome Aboard :)

This forum is for all general discussion relating to the software known as Trainz, whether that be the original Community Edition or the latest Trainz Classics.

Ok, why does other software get brought in here? You want to discuss their software, go to their forum.

Listen Up Mister,
First of all you have no right to tell me to get a life. You are just still peaved about my opinoin on the whole Fury thing. You don't no a darn thing about me.

This is the Trainz Discussion Forum, not the Rail Sim (or whatever its called) Forum. If they don't have one then still don't talk about it here. This forum is for Trainz and it should stay that way.

Actually it's perfectly acceptable to discuss...

...other Train Software on these forums; just not this particular forum. This discussion belongs in the Prototype Talk forum.

"What to Post in Prototype Talk
Prototype Talk is for discussion and information relating to model and full size railroading.

Whether it be news of a new locomotive in the making, a fallen flag revival, railfan outings or new train related software, post it here to share with the community."

If a moderator could move this topic there, do you think we could stop the angst?:)

Hello ASHAN

As Lance Jago said in his sticky in the Prototype Forum,

"Prototype Talk is for discussion and information relating to model and full size railroading.

Whether it be news of a new locomotive in the making, a fallen flag revival, railfan outings or new train related software, post it here to share with the community."

I have moved your thread there. Hopefully this will allow the posts in this thread to actually be on topic.

Cheers

AJ

Now kids!

I looked over this thread and in every post the main subject is Trainz, just be cause some mention another name it is not wrong by any means. Did I mention I have a goat named Bob!

If you think the Fury put down you did worries me in the slightest you definitely need to get a life.
And I have no interest in knowing anything more about you at all, I know you live in these forums and that is just sad.

Oh and the forum has a spell checker to tell you when you have misspelt words, take its advice and let it correct yours.
And what has fixing socks got to do with anything ??

Gentlemen, no fighting in the war room please?

I just saw this.

I like KRS. The only thing that bothered me was the York-Newcastle Route was not included in the NA version. Cajon was utterably boring though. Hopefully, they will include a fair amount of passenger --- both North American, European, and British. A small segment of the NEC would be nice ;)

There is a spill fecker here? Must look.

Eeek! What am I doing here:wave:

Be interesting to see who is the first to accuse RSDL of re-packaging the same game with some new content. (A complaint levelled at Auran in other places, as well as here)

Mike.

Nice thought, Mike. ;)

Balance and fairness is always welcomed over here. I don't know if I'm the first one or not -I don't care- but I do state ('accuse' is hard to say if we talk about amusement and gaming) that RSDL is re-packing the same game with some new content. :hehe:

The re-packing side of Alberte  (who needn't be balanced and fair all the time)

How dare you!
I get on here because I have friends here and enjoy it here. Mind your own damn business. You have no right to address me in that manner. I'm homeschooled and waiting on my new books, when I get them you'll see less of me. I also live in the country so I have very little friends here. This is hwere I go to talk and socialize. Some people actually enjoy my company.

Thank You Very Much and Good Day.

Oh, so now it's wrong to check these forums more than once or twice a day?

To think that way is really sad. When I'm working at my computer, I frequently check the forum, to see if anyone has any questions that I might be able to help with.
