Roystrainz true TurfFX experience with TRS19+

Dear trainz community and Pauls' trainz brew crew:

I feel lucky i did not cont'd trying to make TurfFX work long time ago when encounter many bugs and critters.
Now with TRS19+ and the new excellent features its even for me a charm to work with once you get the hang of what order of steps and settings to follow!
Its not difficult at all as long as you follow the rules and guidelines even if sometimes not real userfriendly its a charm and blessing to have this tool available.

To the trainz brew crew and testers a big thumbs up for this milestone.
1 picture tells a thousand words. 2 even more and not like Trump a thousand words every day and still no picture.:o

Dear friend John,

good to see you hang in there too like most of us and try to be nice and helpful where we can in this unforgiving world of maniacs of sorts.
Wel i put this turFX grass only picture as it was enough just to distract and give the ground a little bit more 3D feeling.
I know that i would love like a all of us have just a few clutter types not to heavy for wild growth and finishing touches of industries with eg dino's superb garbage library. i mean not garbage as for quality but real garbage old tires, pallets you name it but i simply not have the time to make these with lod etc etc to much time involved which i need for my routes finishing.
Hope you are still doing ok and thank you for helping out so many trainzers it is really heartwarming to see.

Thanks Roy.

Your TurfFX shots and description have started me thinking about getting a subscription to Trainz Plus. I am almost at the point of adding features such as TurfFX, Clutter and PBR textures to my latest creation and was not really looking forward to doing it in SP1 or Platinum.

Thank you Roy. Helping others in any way possible even it it's with a hobby is what I like to do especially in these crazy times.

I agree Deane's nice assets will look nice here as well. We don't need a lot of grass like the splines and it's just enough to make it look deeper than it is. I've been playing with the grass and find that the performance is so much better than it ever was with the splines. The problem is it's a bit tedious placing it on a previously completed route, but works well on new ones.

TurfFX looks great but, as usual, N3V have made heavy weather of implementing in a user-friendly fashion. Why no preset grasses you can use? Setting these things up makes quantum mechanics look straightforward! And why won't they work at small radii? And while i'm at it, why are we using terrain tools based on wheels that are 20 years old? (and are hopeless for precision setting!)
