I've recently after several years been getting back into Trainz. I have a lot to catch up on it seems. Anyways, after reinstalling almost all my old content I used (Essentially all JR freeware items, a lot of payware stuff, and then HP-Trainz Marias Pass route) I've decided I am tired of TS2012 and want to upgrade. My reason is because the stupid "Updating Trainz Asset Database" thing I get every single time I start the game. It's what got me to quit the game before, and I hoped since I was on a new pc it wouldn't be an issue now but nope, I still get it and it still takes my game an hour or 2 or sometimes even more to start because of it. So today, when I went to the store page to buy T:ANE, I noticed TS2019 is for sale in early access. Here is where my question lies. Should I buy T:ANE now and upgrade to 2019 later or just buy 2019 now? If 2019 works with JR content already I will just buy it instead of T:ANE, but if it doesn't I'd prefer to buy T:ANE because I do not have the patience to be totally honest because I have been urging to get my hands on those new routes you guys got, especially the Tidewater Point and Legacy of the BN. Eventually I just want to buy all your guy's new routes because wow they look amazing. Anyways, what do you guys think? I just thought I'd ask here since I use JR content almost exclusively aside from routes. Let me know please
TL,DR: Does JR content work with TS2019? If it does I am going to buy that, if not I am going to buy T:ANE.
Small side note, I've been going through all your guy's new stuff you've put out since I left and wow, so much of it looks so good. You guy's really are the best out there. Thanks for providing us with all this great content.
