resizing error

hi all i keep gettting this once i repaint something i use gimp Error: The texture 'C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2006/local/content pkh1woh230\sd9_undec_body/sd9.tga' is not a power of 2, please resize it.
where and how do i resize it in gimp???????

I know you can resize images in free Irfanview.

A square power of 2 means 2 x 2=4, or 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, say 256 x 256 may work, or 128 x 128 sizing.

When you repaint an existing texture file in a kuid, you have to leave it the exact same size.
