i have not seen a UK forum here, as far as I can see the only special divisions are by language. Is there another non-Auran forum you are referring to? If so I suggest that it is up to the creators who post on that forum to also post here. They are the cause of the fragmentation that concerns you.

If we go the way you seem to want then I will ask for a 'Narrow Gauge' Trainz forum subdivided by gauge further divided by country. Same logic and horrible fragmentation.

Peter

Basically the fragmentation issue is http://forum.uktrainz.co.uk/ we seem to have spun off many of the UK Trainz population.

If you wish to find out what is happening on the UK front then often this forum is the place to find out. It appears to have got to the stage where people who only visit the Auran forum don't even get to hear about the latest TC3 items that are available. As Mike10 says the MK1 coach information hasn't been posted here yet but was posted in the UK forums.

I see technical questions being asked on the UK forum that aren't being answered because the people with the expertise or interest in helping aren't there they tend to be here or in Trainzdev.

The problem with the UK stuff is it is a bit specialised and can get lost in the Auran forums freeware announcements or TRS2006/9 forums.

Whales

Look here you lot
Please stop going on about Whales! we have enough problems listening to shouting on about how good they are supposed to be at rugby, but failed to live up to expectation this year in the 6N,
Its been nice and quiet since Ireland stuffed them on their own muck hill.
We let them use GWR to escape from Cardiff and come to Twickers every two years.
Everyone knows GWR was British and will always be so. even the men from Corwall agree, GWR was built by the finest English engineer that ever lived!
Tongue in cheek:eek: no offence to all our Welsh readers

In another place, far, far away, on another planet, I was told I already speak English, rubbish and gibberish.

Too old to learn another one :)

Cheers

Currently UK trainzers have to check in two forums to find out what is happening, that isn't fragmentation?

Three if you count Trainzdev as well.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who post on third party sites and not on the Auran board. I can't see a problem with that, it's just exercising freedom of choice.

It is when the TC3 group announce updated content for TC3 is available on the "Official" TC3 site on the UKTrainz forum which is not an official forum but no mention is made here on the main Auran forum.

This is a guess, but perhaps that reflects a strained relationship between the UK developers and Auran, mayhaps due to the rapid release of an unfinished TS09 hot on the heels of TC3?

French Blood

OMG IKB!!!!
Having French blood in his veins is even worse,
Sorry to disapoint, but I,m not a sweaty, I'm pure anglo saxon living in the far north.
I must say we did thrash them this year, but from the comments up here we did not play well and the Scots should have won, ah well we can all start again in 11 months, good luck for next year

Celts for rum

Perhaps we should have a Welsh, Irish, Cornish and Brittany forum. As we are all celts together

What a wonderful idea,
I think we are getting away from the original thread

ENOUGH:hehe:

You mean TC3 simply works whilst TRS2009 is still real soon now? But surely the TC3 game engine is the best and most stable of the currently available versions of Trainz, shouldn't Auran be promoting it? TRS2009 realistically is a year out.

I would say supervised by English Engineers, but build by Irish.

Paddy Works on the Railway (1)

In eighteen hundred and forty one, I put my corduroy breeches on
I put my cordury breeches on, to work upon the railway.

Fil-a-mee-o-ry, ory, ay (3x)
To work upon the railway.

In eighteen hundred and forty two, I left the ould world for the new
Bad cess to the luck that brought me through, to work upon the railway.

In eighteen hundred and forty three, 'twas then I met sweet Biddy McGee
An iligant wife she's been to me, while workin on the railway.

In eighteen hundred and forty four, me back was gettin' mighty sore
Me back was gettin' might sore while workin' on the railway.

In eighteen hundred forty five, I found meself more dead than alive
I found meself more dead than alive, while workin' on the railway.

It's "Pat do this!" and "Pat do that!", without a stocking or cravat
Nothing but an ould straw hat while Pat worked on the railway.

In eighteen hundred and forty seven, sweet Biddy McGee she went to heaven
She left one child, she left eleven to work upon the railway.

In eighteen hundred and forty eight I learned to drink my whiskey straight
It's an iligant drink that can't be beat for workin' on the railway.

Lets have a section On the British Isles not England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Isle of Mann, Guersney, Jersey, Oban etc.....

Here in South Africa we have eleven official languages. Image if Auran had to cater for all of them. We also have an unofficial language but this is just used by politians.
