Registering

I just finished installing Trainz 12, last time I think I had Trainz 06' so it's been a while. Do I re-register with my new serial number (SN), or do I just enter the new SN and keep the old one as well?

Just add the new one, it will then show both.

Ok I added it, however I still cant use the DL content manager, small message at bottom in red saying "can not find your planit auran account or you have not registered your valid product key. Is the product key the same as the serial number? and where do I enter it?

Product key = serial number = CD Key

Need to Enter it in Launcher > Options > General > Type it in box marked CD Key > click add > OK

Ok I opened options and the serial number was already there, I wonder if I skipped pressing ok, I re did it and let me see now if I can down load anything

If you haven't already, make sure you also register your serial number on your MyTrainz profile via MyTrainz > Serial Number.

I get into "mytrains" ok but I do not see my profile,I see "edit account" manage serial number and the SN for 12 is there along with a SN for 2006

You may need to contact N3V's Helpdesk as well in that case to get them to sort out your timeline next to your username (Helpdesk link is at the top of the forum page).
