What is 'Game Time'?

I've just noticed that the activity log references 'Game Time'.

I just created a new route to do some testing and the earliest time stamp I've noticed so far is 9:59 on 1 January. If I was to hazard a guess I would think it had something to do with seasonality. So the year is always some unspecified year but the time of year has an impact on the seasons displayed.

Of course I could be just assuming this based on a few references I have seen relating to seasons. Or it could be a thing. What's the story here?

It's the time the session is set at as far as I can tell. The default start time is 10:00 am.
Go into session options in Driver and change the time and then check the activity log.
Modify the time and date in your session in the Session editor and then check the activity log.

You should see the time and date in the log reflecting the time and date in Driver.
