Don't know, but you're not missing a whole lot. Besides derailments, I find the TRAINZ physics model to be far more accurate than KRS'. I reccommend TRS for the time being.

whether a simulator is good enough, or not, depends strongly on ourselves: as modellers, content creators, designers and layout-builders. RS is not so far in 3rd-party objects like Trainz, but with some phantasy you may make quite nice routes. An example screen made from built-in objects:

BTW: Trainz will never be deleted from my computer, but i do not promise to use ONLY Trainz.

And can we expect some of your wonderful models in RS?
i would love to see the whole or part of the FMA collection especially the grass in KRS, you guys have some of the best stuff in TRS and im sure it will look even better in RS.

RS's skies constantly change, the clouds don't "repeat" and they will change to rainy, snowy, clear, etc...

Ok. Lets see some screen shots.:wave: This is interesting.

Well the last bunch offered have blue skys. Nice blue skys but no much evidence of weather. Could we see some bad weather shots please.

BTW, as far as I know, it happens at random, heres one of Franks shots with rain.

Nice rain shot. RS and Trainz DO have their pros and cons. Right now, RS is in the "teething" stage. I'm willing to bet that it will be at least a year or two before people settle in and feel at home with RS. RS is a great platform, it just needs work. It was released quite prematurely.

please stop this controversy that Trainz is better that RS or RS pwns Trainz, they are both rail simulators, and they both have pros and cons.

Agree to 100%. BTW if someone makes difference between Trainz and RS, then next step will be an endless dispute about of different railways eg. if US or European rolling stock is better or the Japanese :hehe:. All trains are equally good IF you like trains... Same for simulators.
