I've been updating the UMR2014 route to use the ATLS crossings, and am pleased with the results. I've got them working fairly well, but there is still one problem I notice happening periodically. If the crossing is triggered at the exact time a car is in the crossing, it'll stop on the tracks when it encounters the second traffic stopper.
I know nothing about scripting or anything like that, but I was wondering if these traffic stoppers could be programmed to be directional, ie traffic arriving from one direction will stop as normal, but traffic from the other direction will ignore the stopper. That would allow the traffic stuck in the crossing to leave without getting crushed.
It's also entirely possible (even likely) that I'm doing something wrong. I've copied the setup of the crossings in the Mojave route to the best of my knowledge.
I've sent an email to the creator (Boat), but have had no response.
Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
neil
