Puzzled about instruction on downloading

I want to use a couple of buses that can be operational rather than stationery. I note it says you need to insert the kuid number and that to see the enclosed instructions. Where do you actually find the "Intructions" when using this?

I'm not certain because I don't know what and from where you are downloading, but I suspect the instructions may be in a text file in the asset's folder, or unlikely in the config file.

It sounds like you're referring to cyberstorm's Drivable Superadaptor,<kuid2:78193:950:1> which lets you make any static scenery object into a driveable object. The instructions are in a readme.txt file contained within the main folder. To get to the readme you must open the kuid for Edit in Explorer and then double click the readme.txt file. At least that's my opinion, your milage may vary:p .

I'm rightly causing a mild confusion so wil try and elaborate. It is in connection to two buses by Thunderbirds54321. Both are on page 7 on the left hand side of his creations lists.

Bus Dart First Group 191576:2061
Bus DB250 Girst Group 191576:2062

In below each on the DLS it says....

"All my vehicles are capable of appearing on the roads as part of the traffic. You will need to insert the kuid number of this asset into the config.txt file of your map or custom region (see enclosed README file for instructions"

This is where I'm puzzled regarding where I find the instructionsand whereabouts in turn in the config.txt

You will need to 'open for edit in explorer' in CM, then open the 'read me' file which will contain the instructions you are looking for.

Then follow these instructions after opening your map file to find the config.

To use Thunderbird54321's buses on roads you have to make them into track objects. To do this you must open the buses kuid for Edit in Explorer and double click the config.txt file to add this tag:
trackside 0.01
You can place it anywhere in the file then close, save and commit.
To make the bus appear on roads in your route you have to add the bus kuid to your route or to the region kuid used in the route. To do this open the (route or region) kuid for Edit in Explorer and add this tag:
carx <kuid number of bus>
where x is 0 or the next number in sequence if you have a list of cars.
