How to: Merge Hay Branch 'Junee to Griffith' to ARTC NSW Main South - VR North-East

For those of you who are wanting to merge the Hay Branch to ARTC NSW Main South - VR North-East 'either 1 or v2'. I have created this thread to help you all

Please note that <kuid:553403:101001> ARTC NSW Main South - Hay Branch merge module was distributed by me without obtaining permission from grazlash and PGibbons
I do however have their blessings regarding the module, it was not intentional to forget to obtain permission, I think I forgot because I was excited over importing the XPT models. The idea of the module just helps save time as terrain manipulation was required including rising and lowering track here and there to make it work

Credits:

ARTC NSW Main South - VR North-East, by grazlash
Hay Branch 1, 2A, 3 and Leeton 2 Griffith routes, by PGibbons

Instructions: It is highly recommended that you pre-merge the entire Hay Branch 'Junee to Griffith' first, all routes by PGibbons

And then merge <kuid:553403:101001> ARTC NSW Main South - Hay Branch merge module to the Hay Branch 1 section of the route. To do this you must add a track spline to the 'eastern' side of the crossing and then delete the 3 unneeded baseboards

Save As, once you exit Surveyor. Please View Sessions then delete the automatically created Session..

Load up either

This choice is completely up to you regarding which ARTC NSW Main South - VR North-East route you want to use.

You will need to insert splines for both the track and the roads before deleting the baseboards and finally merging the Hay Branch to ARTC NSW Main South - VR North-East

You are a star Phil, but i will pass on branch line additions thanks very much buddy. I am only really interested in the MS for running, although i have added VR NE v4 to my merge at the southern end.

Also i am not that good at updating the older routes, as you know i made a real mess of the three northern route merges. Which look pathetic, compared to FootplatePhil's and grazlash's excellent creations.

If i was more of a competent route builder, i would probably jump at the chance of adding everything that would merge.
