PRR/N&W signals

Hi fellows.

I´m looking for a signal system for my Noobmountain & Western RR.
Is there a complete system available? With focus to gantrys and brackets.

I´ve got some brackets with colored signals and I´m looking for uncolored/simple white ones.
There is also a nice PRR-system, but without bracket-style signals.

I´m going to use the PRR system, if nothing is closer to 50ies style N&W signals. But I´d love to have those brackets.

:D

So if you know something, tell me...

Thank you!
A.

Well, to those nice ones I referred above.
;)

Wish: his PRR signals on his brackets.

I think I´ll write him, maybe he can do them.

Darn thing!

I wrote him a message, but the addy which is provided here, seems to be wrong. The mail came back.

So, is anyone here who knows him?
I really, really would like to ask him!
:(

Did that, thank you.
As before, brackets yes, but colored. Last night I decided to use his PRR system and it works fine.
:)

When you search for csxt4617, also look for his N&W signal bracket that holds some of those signals he made aloft.....

Yeah, I already have everything which is on the DLS.

:)

It just would be nice if someone could get those PRR-Signals up on those brackets.
:D
That´s what I´m looking for.... I just discovered how difficult it is for me to explain something in a foreign language.

I'm just wondering, did the PRR even have bracketed signals? I know the B&O did but I don't remember any other position lights being on brackets. Maybe the Pennsy did it on rural lines, but I always remembered them as using gantries.

No need to hurry, my N&W project is on hold as I´m currenty focused on another project, but I will come back to it and I´d love to have white-lighted N&W-PLS on brackets. Take all the time you need, if you like to do them, please keep me informed.

The PRR-signals fit fine, so there is no absolute need for every other aspect, just the brackets are needed.

They did.

Thats on the N&W in Chillicothe. I´ve also seen a lot DVDs where they show up.

From 1:46 and further.
As for the PRR I am not sure.

AFAIK no. I think they were pretty diligent about not using gantries, unlike the Reading or B&O. They really had a fondness for signal bridges, and there are plenty of current and ex-Pennsy bridges around here (the general Philadelphia-Maryland-Delaware-NJ area.) They might have toyed with the idea but I barring a great body of evidence to the contrary they weren't widespread. I'm less certain about the N&W. Plus, I think when the Reading came under control of the Penn Central, even the Reading's practices, including of using brackets, largely fell by the wayside.
