Yeah that would be cool to see. Dont get me wrong I love Amtrak but I was thinking how cool it would be if PRR lived to see another day. I know they were going to extend electrification to Pittsburgh, via Horshoe curve but financial problems and other setbacks resulted in the termination of the project. Chicago wouldn't have been much more of a stretch. Could you imagine Acela sleeping cars, sweet, waith this is a Pennsy fantasy, nevermind.

In order to damp down the xenophobic public reaction the chinese have bought the rights to the Pennsylvania Railroad name and logo from the Penn-Central corporation, now a private real estate investment trust. They plan on running trains under that name from NY to San Francisco in fifteen hours with luxury service, but of course only the chinese executives can afford to ride it, being much too costly for Americans with their worthless money.
