PRR Horseshoe Curve Route (in the works) Screenshots

PRR Horseshoe Curve

I am on a road trip railfanning the Altoona area this week starting Oct-6th. Does anyone have any photo requests, or areas of research they need photos of, from Tyrone through Johnstown PA ? Peak fall folliage is THIS WEEKEND Oct 18th-19th...I will be taking photos heavily those two days...submit your requests now for photo shots if you need them.

Yes. I could use photos of Mineral Point and anything from Allegeny Portage Railroad Historic site between Southfork and Johnstown. Have fun.:)

The East Slope, westward from Altoona, is smoothed out, and starts out at 1.5% gradient, and gradually increases to a 1.8% grade all the way to Tunnel Hill. I'm sure the prototype has many different gradients, but for the sake of gittn' er done, I have simplified the gradients, and it looks somwhat realistic. MG, BN, and SF interlockings are functional as in the 1920's. The theme is Autumn in full blazing color. The tunnel portals will be fashioned from a dark spline, or a really shortened stone arch bridge segment. The MG tower is 3 PRR Cabins, 2 of them rotated and half sunk in the ground. In Driver, I ran four SD70s on the head end west from Altoona, with a 15,000 ton train in tow, with two more SD70s on the tail end as pushers. It took forever to get up to speed, and the locos were on their knees, pulling in run 8, at a top speed of 17 mph around the "Curve". Now to smooth out the West Slope, and detail Cresson Yards, loco facility and interchange with the branch lines. More screen shots to come. I need PRR (editable) keystone station signs, to place on the Tower walls.

MG Tower

MG Tower looks great!:Y: That wouldn't be MSTS2 would it?

Excellant Photos. I saved a few of them for my collection.

I just figured it out. MG Tower is George Fishers Signal Tower plus two more sunk into the ground. Excellent effect.:Y:

G Fisher, and S Driver are just a few of the great content creators. I like to reposition, and merge their stuff at different heights. Like this (worlds tallest Trainz) parking garage. The possibilities are endless.
