Products gone missing

I am running TS2009,( I purchased 2010 & 2012, but my laptop prefers '09) I have just purchased & downloaded S & C (which is excellent. Thanks Zec Murphy for showing me how to get up and running ( I mean not running it as a stand alone) . The problem I have is now I cannot assign a product to any wagon capable of being filled, on any route. I select an appropriate wagon in Surveyor, hit the ? to see possible loads, which brings up a dropdown called Products, but there are no products in the list. Am I missing something? (no pun intended)

Appreciate any help I can get.

You have faulty products. Check the forum for faulty product list. (cant remember what the thread was)

Thanks for your quick response, Shane thanks for your welcome, I have visited the forums many times, and usually find what I am looking for (and more!), but this has me stumped. I went to my Content, and checked your list, and I have none of the listed assets installed. Do I need to delete temporarily all my assets page by page until I find the problem? or is there another way?

I would check all of your installed commodities and make sure that none of them have missing dependencies or errors.

Did as you suggested, found 3 faulty commodities, deleted them, and now my Products are back.

No problem. Out of interest, which commodities were they?

The 3 Commodities were:
GWR Furniture Container Kuid 2:1400:1012
LMS Furniture Container Kuid 2:1400:1014
SR Furniture Container Kuid 2:1400:1015

I downloaded them again, and I have no problems. Perhaps my installed copies became corrupt, not sure how as I did not know they were installed, and have not used them.

Major patches can potentially mess around with built-in content. The SP1 patch for TS12 did a lot worse than previous patches in that respect.
