What Exactly is an Alpha Image ... and why are they not the same size ?

This probably has been discussed previously.

The Main Image and the Alpha Image are not the same size.

Example:

Blah.tga
Alpha.Blah.tga (<---where is Alpha Blah.tga, I can't see it to resize it ?)
Alpha Hint-Semitransparent (<--- WTF is this ?)

It is used to make a mask and must be the same size as the image it masks, this error was not flagged in older Trainz, it should have.
