Problems with downloading

Help me... I'm getting way behind on my downloads.
I haven't been able to download from Internet explorer for several days.It keeps coming up Internet Exployer cannot display the web page. I changed over to Mozilla and it is slow because it doesn't show that mt First Class Ticket is there. I am paid up to 1-19-2011 (19-01-2011). Does it not work with Mozilla?
I have been working with it all day to no avail.

Problems Downloading

I am having the exact same problem attempting to download. Diagnosing the problem indicates a failure to communicate with the Auran FTP Server. I opened a Ticket with the Helpdesk two days ago, and another one today, but I have not received a response. Not sure if Auran is trying to figure out the problem, or if they are as stumped as us :eek: . Course, it could also be a problem being in different countries, but I would assume that would be posted before one buys the product......
 
I was doing fine up to a few days ago. My daughter talked me into Mozilla and it won't even recognize that I have paid for the First Class Ticked. Kinda got me at a loss for sure.
 
Every time I click the setup link, I get sent to the Download Here link, and then failure. Guess we'll just have to wait until they respond on the Ticket, though I will be quite irritated if my First Class Ticket runs out before they get back to me <sigh>
 
It's quite frustrating. I can't even find the refresh button... guess I need to sleep on it LOL. I can't figure out Internet explorer it was working fine..maybe the problem is in the browser ??
 
I have an FCT and today is the first day that I am having problems. CM 3.2 refuses do download anything I get a 0 Bps rate. I use FireFox and have never had a problem. Make sure that you allow the Auran website through Firefox exception list.

Same thing tonight. It will not let me download anything from the 8-10th of March (Internet explorer cannot display the web page shows up every time) nor will it let me use my Ticket pass either (canceled it out ) I am paid up until Jan of next year.
Is everyone experiencing the same problem?
Maybe I should ask elsewhere?:( I have been with Trainz since 2001 and am so frustrated right now I feel like giving up.
 
Hi All

I am too in the same boat, just activated my FCT and already lost three days. Spiffy does say in the Auran announcements that the ftp server along with most of the Auran stuff, is being transfered to a new servers and disruptions would be likely. Although I would have said most definately be disrupted.

However, I would hope, that they award everyone with a free 30 day FCT which they have definately done in the past, to appease the community spirit.
 
Downloading

Same here, on Firefox and use TrainzDownloder Pro.
As of two days ago get message.
No such file or folder
 
I too have the same problem to even download the game as i have just bought it and not impressed at all, surely they would or should have a backup server for new buyers at least,, funny how my money is transferred instantly though if server is not up, if that is case and if this is going to take days just to get a reply, then i will be lookn at a refund as i DONT buy online products to get a week later as i only have 7days on the ticket also and i aint payin more if this is the kind of service provided :n:

Check the link in the post above you, That will explain part of the problem. Even here in the UK we seem to be having problems downloading. Been like it since Sat pm.

I am using the dlc now with firefox my FCT ran out during the server move but dlc seems to be working ok for me in the uk northeast.

Not only is it not downloading but also comes up that setup.exe file to download is a security risk and shuts down my system and removes it *sighs* i just wanna play the bloody thing at least :'(
 
How do you download this bloody game, i got 5 links in my email, do i need to download them all if they work that is which they aint, one is the first is a setup exe file which dont do anything cause it asks for a disk and ahhhhh i didnt buy it on disc obviously

You need to download all the files and once downloaded and all in the same folder, you can run the Setup.exe file to install the game.
 
Thanks Itareous. At first I thought I was alone in my problems and now I see by Spiffy's post that it's a matter of changing their server,etc.
I can live with that. So guys reading this post can go to the site in your post and won't get so impatient (like me).
Hopefully they will get it back up shortly. I sure am getting behind in my downloads for sure.

I cannot download anything dated 8th march onwards, anything before this date downloads ok. do you think this is only due to the current upgrade ?

Hopefully everyone can download now.
I am up and running in Tennessee :) ...took me 3 1/2 hrs to catch up but I now have it back. Hope everyone else is too.
