Problems with content being faulty

Railfan of the SOO Line
I tried patching to 61833, and 433 items became faulty with the tag, "Unable to link compiled script class"

I backed up my UserData folder, then uninstalled and reinstalled TS12 to build 49922, then imported the UserData using the "Import CDPs" function in CMP. After all of this, though, the items are still faulty. Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?

Okay, a few examples are:

ATLS Assets (controller, slave, traffic stopper)
Pretty much all of JointedRail's Rolling Stock and Locomotives
RyansTrains's safetran railroad crossings
Mojave Sub Division
Defects Detectors from JointedRail

Does this help?

After patching, do an extended database repair; that should fix the problem with the route at least.

Btw, consider replacing your signature image by something of max 100 pixels high.

I had this happen yesterday as well ... no faulty assets, latest JR Updates, etc. So, I let an extended database repair run last night, didn't make any difference ... what I think you should be able to do is delete everything from the UserData\Libraries directory (basically the compiled scripts and let them all rebuild on the next run of Trainz, then run a repair and it would be fixed. But that has NEVER worked for me ... in-fact, it seems to make things worse sometimes). Instead, what I typically end up doing is replacing the UserData\Libraries directory from a backup that I know works ... do a check for errors & warnings on the assets in CM and it will pretty much always fix the problems. It really feels like one or more scripts is getting corrupted somehow (or possibly the scripts are getting recompiled improperly and this is what is causing the problem) ... not sure.

Following an extended database repair, all my locos had missing dependance's - interior cabs, and all these interiors had the following error: Error: The Tag 'tooltip-token' is not permitted within a container of type 'default'. and despite deleting and re downloading these KUIDS, the error message still returns. Do you think your suggestion about removing libraries could help here? I had an earlier thread ' database repair and lost assets' with lots of helpful advice, but no solution yet!

Kind of doubt it ... removing the libraries is specific to the 'Unable to link compiled script class' error mentioned in the OP.

Are the errors you are seeing specific to multiple assets or is it that the multiple assets have another dependency that actually is faulty. The other thing you can try is to edit the asset ... modify the config.txt file and remove the 'tooltip-token' tag and commit the changes (if it's not built-in, protected, or what not).

The errors are specific to cab interiors, which are the missing dependencies to the majority of my downloaded content which share most of these cabs. The strange thing is that the config files do not show this Tag! The built in assets are not affected.
